I'm Julia Bien-Aime, a financial cheerleader and tax preparer. I have spent 8 years working with small business owners and boutique companies with their financial records and annual tax preparation. As a former corporate leader for governmental tax reform, I have extensive knowledge of standard tax deductions, progressive taxation, and taxable income. Through my studies and work experience, I understand how the tax system can help and harm small businesses, families, and communities. I have developed an educational tax program to assist these sectors in maximizing every dollar spent and every dollar you're able to itemize.
With a deep love for my Haitian heritage, I know how important it is to educate immigrant communities on the details of the tax system. I've served my community as a tax preparer, financial liaison, and financial educator. I have a heart for people, and I know crunching the numbers and maximizing your dollars is my way to reach the world. As a Certified Acceptance Agent, I can help immigrant applicants complete documents to obtain an ITIN and file taxes with integrity.
I hold my MBA from Capella University and a bachelor's degree in Business from Touro College. I formerly worked for KPMG, Deloitte and served on the National Association of Black Accountants board as the Director of Public Relations in Philadelphia. I am of Haitian descent and currently reside in New York City. Proud mom to a healthy baby boy named Daniel who loves Elmo.
